1st LTTA - Portugal

The 1st LTTA was held in Agrupamento de Escolas de Pinheiro from the 03rd to the 07th of june where the main topic was "Entrepreneurship".

The main objective for the first day was for the students to get to know each other (ice-breaking activities) and to get to know some cultural aspects of the region where the school is located (treasure hunt at Castro de Monte Mozinho).

On the second day the students had a masterclass with an expert in Social Economy. The aim for this day is to (re)define a problem (what we Know, what we don’t know, who can help us) related to their schools or something they would like to see solved.. In the afternoon, students and teachers visited Quinta da Aveleda, a farm specializing in the region's typical wines.

On the third day, the students had another masterclass with an expert in Creative Thinking/Design Thinking.The students have learned how to generate ideas and select them to start creating prototypes. Each group of students created a prototype (solution to the problem) and presented it to all the participants.

On the fourth day During the morning they visited the ANJE (Association of Young Entrepreneurs) incubator and the BGA (Brave Generation Academy) company, to learn about the opportunities and challenges of setting up a business.. In the afternoon they went on a field trip to the city of Porto.

On the last day the students presented their action plans to a panel (one teacher from each school and an expert from ANJE) to develop the company (chosen on the second day) in the schools taking part in the project. The project teachers met to plan the second mobility in Barcelona (Spain) and the certificates of participation were also handed out. In the afternoon, all the students and teachers had a convivial lunch to build closer bonds.
