Entrepreneurship Activity 1: Clothes Swap
Clothes Swap Event
A clothes exchange market was organized in all partner schools with the aim of giving a second life to garments no longer in use. This initiative provided an excellent opportunity for students and staff to renew their wardrobes in a free, sustainable, and waste-free manner.
The event not only allowed participants to pass on clothes they no longer needed but also enabled others to acquire quality second-hand items in good condition. Moreover, it served as an effective way to raise awareness about waste prevention and sustainable consumption, offering original and creative ideas to encourage the reuse of second-hand clothing.

On April 4, a clothes swap took place in the schoolyard. Pupils brought clothes in good condition that they no longer needed and swapped them with each other. In glorious spring weather, they rummaged, tried on and eagerly swapped. The campaign not only promoted the sustainable use of resources but also fostered a sense of community among the participants. Many were delighted to find new favourite items and exchange creative ideas.

As part of our eTwinning project, we organized a "Swapping Clothes" activity at our school to promote sustainability and responsible consumption. Teachers and students actively participated by donating clothes they no longer needed, giving these items a second life and reducing waste. The event encouraged our school community to reflect on the importance of reusing and recycling, while also fostering solidarity, sharing, and environmental awareness among students.

Clothes Swap: Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Action
As part of our eTwinning project, we carried out an entrepreneurial activity focused on sustainability: the Clothes Swap. The main aim of this initiative was to promote environmental awareness, responsible consumption and an entrepreneurial spirit among the students.
During the event, participants brought items of clothing in good condition that they no longer wore and swapped them for others, giving them a new lease of life. As well as reducing textile waste, this activity encouraged students to think creatively and get involved in the management of an event, from logistical organization to promotion and communication.
The Clothes Swap was also an opportunity to reflect on the impacts of the fashion industry on the environment and to explore more sustainable business models, such as the circular economy and conscious fashion. By taking on different roles (organizers, promoters, poster designers, among others), the students developed essential entrepreneurial skills such as initiative, collaboration, problem-solving and decision-making.
This experience demonstrated that entrepreneurship can (and should) be at the service of a fairer and more sustainable world.
