3rd LTTA - Germany

The Third LTTA in Germany

From March 17th to 21st, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of students as part of our Erasmus project. The theme of the week was "Environment," and through various activities, students gained valuable insights into environmental protection while strengthening intercultural exchange.

On Monday, the week began with an official reception, followed by ice-breaking activities and school presentations. In the afternoon, a treasure hunt through the historical city helped students familiarize themselves with Nuremberg.

Tuesday focused on nature conservation. In the morning, students explored the local forest with a ranger, learning about biodiversity and sustainability. Later, they visited the Germanisches Nationalmuseum to gain historical perspectives on German culture.

Wednesday was dedicated to environmental science and digital storytelling. A workshop on air cleanliness, led by an expert from the environmental agency, provided crucial insights. This was followed by a session on creating social media campaigns, where students brainstormed ideas for promoting eco-friendly behaviour.

Thursday was hands-on: students worked with the influencer Manfred von Koreander to develop their own environmental awareness campaigns. In the afternoon, they explored the “Reichsparteitagsgelände,” learning about history and its impact on modern society.

On Friday, students finalized their projects and participated in a contest showcasing their work. The week ended with a farewell activity: blacklight minigolf, offering a fun and relaxed way to say goodbye.

This Erasmus exchange was a meaningful experience, allowing students to deepen their understanding of environmental issues while fostering international friendships. The combination of educational activities and cultural experiences made the week both informative and enjoyable.
